Jarrod Valenti-Professional Saxophone/Piano Player
Jarrod Valenti is a professional musician in Hilton Head Island, SC. He has graduated from the University of RI with a BA in Music and Communication Studies. He is currently performing with several music groups:
Solo – Piano (instrumental dinner music)
Duo – 2 Sons (Jarrod Valenti and David Neal Carroll) Saxophone, guitar, harmonica and vocals performing your favorite music from the 60s and 70s.
Duo – Lowcountry Jam Duo (Jarrod Valenti and Liam Cronin) performing your favorite funk, folk, top 40 and classic rock hits.
Duo – Honeybadgers (Jarrod Valenti and Craig Coyne) playing classic rock/jam/funk music
Full band – Lowcountry Jam Packed (Jarrod Valenti, Liam Cronin, Tyrone Adams, Lee Cronin and Vince Ruby) performing your favorite funk/classic rock,/folk music
Full band – The Storks (Jarrod Valenti, Jos Vicars and John Wilkins) performing reggae, funk and party music
Full band – White Liquor (Rolling Stones cover band) Playing all the Stones’ favorites!
Jarrod has previously been a founding member of National touring band “Fungus Amungus” and he has played on stage with the likes of: the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers, the Violent Femmes, Rusted Root, P-Funk, etc.
Jarrod has been a music educator in grades K-12 for the past 10 years, most recently being a Band Director at Battery Creek HS in Beaufort (2014-2017). He also teaches private lessons in sax, piano, voice and drums, and he has won several awards, including Band of the Year in Southern New England 2011and Best Funk Band 2014. He has also received superior ratings at State Music Festivals for conducting his ensembles.
